Research Interests:
Community scale renewable energy and energy efficiency, rural electrification, energy and the environment in Asia; electricity restructuring and civil society.

Projects:
Palang Thai - a Thailand-based non-profit organization that works to ensure that the transformations that occur in the region's energy sector are economically rational, and that they augment, rather than undermine, social and environmental justice and sustainability.
The Border Green Energy Team provides hands-on solar and micro-hydro training for villages on both sides of the Thai / Burma border.
