Gang He's work focuses on China’s energy and climate change policy, energy economics and energy modeling, integrating renewable energy, and cleaner utilization of coal.
Gang He is pursuing his doctorate in the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley and a graduate researcher at Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL). Previously, he was a research associate at Stanford University's Program on Energy and Sustainable Development (PESD). He was with the World Resources Institute (WRI) as a Cynthia Helms Fellow. With his experiences both in US and China, he has been actively involved in the US-China collaboration on energy and climate change. Mr. He received an M.A. from Columbia University on Climate and Society and a B.S. from Peking University on Geography.
