This will be a special RAEL lunch to discuss and explore research directions in the emerging area of ‘Energy Development in Conflict Settings’, where Samira Siddique is working in the Rohingya context, and Hilary Yu is working in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. More generally, a number of large-scale efforts are emerging on campus in this area, including a likely team-based research proposal and potential center.
