Dim­it­ry Ger­shen­son is an Ener­gy Access Pro­gram Man­ag­er at Face­book. Pri­or to his cur­rent role, Dim­it­ry com­plet­ed his MS at UC Berkeley’s Ener­gy and Resources Group, where he focused on decen­tral­ized elec­tri­fi­ca­tion in East Africa, finance and invest­ment for ener­gy access, and the sec­ond-life appli­ca­tions of retired elec­tric vehi­cle bat­ter­ies. He received his Bach­e­lors at Rut­gers Uni­ver­si­ty, where he stud­ied Nat­ur­al Resource Man­age­ment and Span­ish. Dim­it­ry is also a Returned Peace Corps Vol­un­teer, hav­ing served over 2 years work­ing as a Pro­tect­ed Areas Man­age­ment Advi­sor in Honduras.
